Thought of the Day

Good Morning,

Happy Thursday. Remember to start each day with gratitude. Have a wonderful day. Enjoy.

Be at peace as you start your day……tap into the magical energy that is present as each new day dawns. Take those early precious moments to breathe deeply, to set intentions for the day, and to send goodness out ahead of you. Much is revealed in how we treat people and how we engage with our world. Each one of us has been blessed with an individual spiritual essence, and we are all at different points on our spiritual journey. It is easy for most of us to be kind, considerate, and respectful to those we like, and love, the true test of our spirit comes when we encounter people, with whom we struggle to find common ground. This is a truth that we must all navigate in our lives.

To plant a tree under whose shade you will never sit. To be the best human being you can be, even in the face of adversity, that is strength, that is spirit. We cannot control how other people engage with us, but we can control how we engage with them. The power that you have when you are in touch with your spirit is indomitable. It will protect you, and stop you from taking things personally. Conversely, if you are at odds with spirit, it goes out into the world and bumps and bruises its way through life. Never understanding that to consciously hurt another is to bring that energy right back to you. Everything we do, both good and bad, has infinite consequences. Always remember, peace begins with you.

Caroline Myss said “Your spirit is the part of you that is seeking meaning and purpose. That’s one way someone can relate to that. Another way to understand spirit is that it’s the part of you that is drawn to hope, that will not give in to despair. The part of you that has to believe in goodness; that has to believe in something more. When we harbour negative emotions toward others or toward ourselves, or when we intentionally create pain for others, we poison our own physical and spiritual systems. By far the strongest poison to the human spirit is the inability to forgive oneself or another person. It disables a person’s emotional resources. The challenge is to refine our capacity to love others as well as ourselves and to develop the power of forgiveness.”
