Thought of the Day

Good Morning,

Happy Monday. Have a beautiful day. Set your intentions now. Enjoy.

Always do your best……be conscious of your intentions. They reveal your motivations and they will help you to understand the affect that your words and actions create. Whenever you encounter someone who seems unnecessarily cruel with how they engage with you and others, ask them what their intentions are? Ask them what they hope to create by their behaviour, style or approach? Not everyone has the capacity to hold the mirror up, and see what others see. But if you can hold it up for them. They just might begin to see that everything we do communicates something about us. Because, people who seem to want to make life hard for others, who can’t or won’t try to appreciate what it’s like to be in a room with them, often reveal what needs healing in them.

Now more than ever in our world, we need to be conscious of our intent and the affect we create with our words and our actions. Especially, if we want to motivate people to achieve common goals. We alone are responsible for managing the intent and affect of our communications. It is not up to everyone else to navigate the minefield of our words and actions. In fact people who use fear, toughness, and shame to engage with people, reveal their own weaknesses and opportunities for development. So we must all be mindful of how we effect people. We need to consciously manage our intentions and always maintain the self-esteem of those around us. After all, when we do things in the spirit of friendship or the spirit of love,  it is in those moments,  that we are truly alive. In fact, we pave the path to our own emotional growth with a touch of humour, a measure of compassion, and a kind heart. By being mindful of the moments , we nurture our ability to create the very best for ourselves and everyone around us.

Gary Zukav said “An intention is the quality of consciousness that you bring to a deed or words. It’s an energy. It’s your reason for speaking. It’s your motivation that creates consequences. It is the consciousness or energy behind the motivation that is going to determine the effect that occurs. The more aware of your intentions and your experiences you become, the more you will be able to connect the two, and the more you will be able to create the experiences of your life consciously. This is the development of mastery. It is the creation of authentic power.”
