Thought of the Day

Good Morning,

Happy Wednesday. Have a beautiful day. Enjoy.

Always do your best……..blaming and shaming are the tools of the skill deficient leader. They are the tools that hurting people use to hurt people. Their words are passive aggressive in nature and they do not lift  others up, rather they put people down as they attempt to blame and shame them into action. People are going to have bad days, poor results, and struggles mixed in with the joy and bliss of life. How you choose to respond tells the whole world a lot about you. Because there has never been a time, nor will there ever be a time when shame and blame could bring about desired results. Setting yourself up as untouchable and then pointing fingers will destroy any hope of building your brand positively. It will never result in trust and teamwork. It is a heartless way to go through life and it drains the goodness out of everything and everyone.

Treating people well; believing in them, and supporting them when things get rough, these are the attributes of  a wholehearted leader. Character is who we truly are on the inside. No amount of charisma and playing nice will alter what people experience outwardly. Your character is driven by your level of  inward peace and wellness. As you think in your heart, so you will become. If we want to grow and refine our skills we must start with the inside. Because people with character don’t use the tools of blame and shame. People who have healed, don’t try to hurt others. So in the end we reap what we sew. So don’t be the person who is passive/aggressive making statements of shame. Be the person who shines their light and lets people know they believe in them. We are all human, none of us infallible, and what we need when we’re down and not achieving our best……is LOVE
