Thought of the Day

Today’s Challenge……Lean into your vulnerability and be courageous about moving forward.

Always do your best…….listen when spirit is calling. When it says, enough is enough. Our soul is nurtured from within; and when our soul is exhausted it cannot be rejuvenated with rest. It has endured far more than a bad night’s sleep; It needs us to take action and to do the right thing even when we are fearful of doing so. While the facts of your current situation are temporary and subject to change. The truth is a constant. It is immutable, it never changes. It stares at us and reminds us that we are the driver in our lives. We have the power to make choices and to face our truths with courage as we lean into our vulnerability. In the silence reality speaks to us and gently nudges us forward.

In order to do that we must believe in ourselves and trust ourselves implicitly. Fear will try to challenge us and remind us of all the things that might go wrong. Ignore it. Fear will tell you it is better to be silent and  just go along. But that decision will lead to more of the same experiences and negative energy. So, it is time to look in the mirror of self and reclaim your power and your trust. For when we love ourselves, we refuse to allow others to rain on our parade. We refuse to allow our emotions and our sense of well being to be kicked around by our environment and those we share it with. If we are to have magical lives, we must have magical minds. Ones that know us and encourage us to live wholeheartedly. Today, confront your fears and beside every excuse you give yourself, write an action you will take just  for you. The only way out…..is through. Namaste

Iyanla Vanzant said “When it comes to moving forward, demonstrating your power, it is the same experience for everyone. When life calls upon you to step up your pace, to move into a higher level of being, to put your potential to use, it will bring up every aspect of fear that is hidden in your consciousness. When this happens, you will not be able to move. More important, if you do not trust that you will be able to walk through the fear, you will choose not to move. How you respond to fear when  it rises will determine how much you can trust yourself. The catch is unless you trust yourself, you will not be able to confront the fear.”
