Thought of the Day

Be mindful……..express your love unconditionally.  There are many things that your mind will tell you are wrong with your life.  Your ego wants to be in competition with the world.  It will boast loudly about its daily achievements and complain bitterly when things don’t go the way it believes they should.  Your ego only knows conditional love. So the problem is never the problem.  It is always related to how much love you have for yourself.  If you love yourself, if you believe in you, then you stand in your own power.  You are not ravaged quite so much by the storms of life.  Your self-love fuels another day.

If we do not cultivate that love then we fall into misery, we embrace criticism, we use should in every sentence.  Our power comes to us through a love of self that acts as a force field.  People who have strong levels of self-love don’t say “I should” they say “I am.” Suffering comes from needing things to be different.  For example jealousy is a demand that someone love you in a certain way, and although it makes you look at the other person, it is actually a lack of self-confidence and love for yourself that drives it. When you love yourself completely, you can know peace more deeply, because wherever you are now, is the place of serenity.

Don Miguel Ruiz said “When you enjoy the presence of yourself, you love yourself not because of the way you are, but because of who you are.  The more you love yourself, the more you enjoy your life, and the more you enjoy the presence of everyone around you.  Love is the medicine that accelerates the process of healing. Not; I love you if, or I love myself if.  There is no if. Just unconditional love.”
