Always do your best…….maintain your perspective. At times we get trapped by our minds. Our thoughts are coming fast and furious, and if we let ourselves, we give in to the drama that they create. Perspective is important, knowing when we need to create a shift in our thinking and then doing it, is integral to our success. There is no question that some things in life, are harder to handle than others……but if we have the same reaction to everything, then we have allowed ourselves to lose perspective. So we must live our lives with awareness, because you cannot change what you do not acknowledge.
The key to momentum is to always have something in faith to look forward to, something to anticipate. We must live by faith, and nurture our ability to keep on keeping on, when life gets rough. We can either live by faith or not at all. We can either venture out into the world or vegetate. The key to creating a great life, is to know precisely when you must create a shift in your thinking. Not all of our thoughts serve us, sometimes our monkey minds wreak havoc with our ability to cope. It’s never safe to look into the future with eyes of fear, because 99% of the things we worry about, never happen. Your success will be measured by your willingness to keep on trying. Anyone can quit. Have the courage to live.
Robin Sharma said “To live happier, more fulfilling lives, when we encounter a difficult circumstance, we must keep shifting our perspective and continually ask ourselves, “Is there a wiser, more enlightened way of looking at this seemingly negative situation?” Stephen Hawking, one of the greatest physicists ever, is reported to have said that we live on a minor planet of a very average star located within the outer limits of one of a hundred thousand million galaxies. How’s that for a shift in perspective? Given this information, are your troubles really that big? We walk this planet for such a short time. In the overall scheme of things, our lives are mere blips on the canvas of eternity. So have the wisdom to enjoy the journey and savour the process.”
