Today’s Challenge ~ Become more aware of the patterns in your life and commit to changing and healing them.
Always do your best…..if you’re honest with yourself, you know your patterns. You know the things that you do to dodge and weave around them. You know that they are draining your life energy; and you know that the only way out is through. You have used a strategy of avoidance, one where you suck back, reload, and start another day. Now you’re at the tipping point, either the patterns will continue and they will consume you, or you will choose to end the pattern of behaviour that places everyone else, ahead of yourself. You have been in overdrive for so long, you don’t realize there is any other speed. While you may have been taught to hold on because it makes you strong, sometimes it all comes down to letting go.
You must let go of the pattern that constantly strives, drives, and pushes…..and replace it with a hopeful heart and an open mind. You need to give people space to be their brilliant selves, to rise to the occasion, to bring forth their creativity and in the process let go of the wheel. You cannot make yourself a priority if you are driving everyone else. Self-care requires us to give ourselves moments of serenity, slices of peace, and time to reflect and grasp what must be done. A time to reclaim the rhythm and flow of life and to make yourself a priority. Loving kindness towards ourselves is the ultimate path to healing. Take care of you today and heal what must be healed.
Louise Hay said “Awareness is the first step in healing or changing. When we have some pattern buried deeply within us, we must become aware of it in order to heal the condition. Perhaps we begin to mention the condition, to complain about it or see it in other people. It rises to the surface of our attention in some way, and we begin to relate to it. When we are ready, we often attract a teacher, a friend, a mentor, a coach, or a book to ourselves that begins to awaken new ways to approach the dissolving of the problem.”
