Never give up………when life piles up at your door, you have to sweep away the mess. Every now and then we need to free our minds of unproductive and hazardous thoughts by clearing out the fog and replacing it with clarity and vision. Many of us make a commitment to keeping our physical bodies in healthy shape and we must make the same commitment to our mental health. A clear mind can change how you approach a problem, it can change how you feel and how you see people, and most importantly it can remind you of your blessings.
Clarity precedes mastery and so we must de-clutter our brains, remove the thoughts that do not contribute to us living authentically and moving towards the achievement of our goals. Reflection is an important skill that allows us to step away from ourselves, from our decisions, and to see the impact that we create with our thoughts, words, and deeds. Reflection allows us to discard the fog of yesterday and to choose to whom and to what we give our life’s energy to today. Reflection renews the pursuit of our dreams and reminds us that we must keep going, forge ahead, and press on, because the only thing that can derail a dream – is our thoughts in contradiction.
Robin Sharma said “Failure is a choice. Nothing can stop a man or a woman who simply refuses to be kept down. Just make a decision from the centre of your heart that, no matter what happens to you, you will keep walking the authentic path. Doing so will ensure you a life of real success. During tough times there is a tendency to let go of yourself. As you encounter adversity, have the discipline to maintain your routine. Make sure that you do all you can to keep all four of your central dimensions – the mind, the body, the emotions, and the spirit in fine operating order.”
