Happy Tuesday. Have an awesome day. Enjoy.
Always do your best……..being a real friend is a tremendous responsibility. The most important thing, is being there, and not just for the good times. When I make my gratitude list, I always remember my friends. Good friends are precious and they deserve to be treated that way. Some of our friends have been there for as long as we can remember. Others come later and join us on this journey of life. No matter when they come into our lives, we hold those treasured relationships near to our hearts. We nurture them, and as we grow, learn, and mature, their place in our hearts expands too. A truly loving friend says only good things behind your back, and saves the tougher stuff for face to face conversation. They honour your connection.
Reciprocity is implicit….while one or the other friend takes the lead, shoulders the moment, supports as much as they can, it is unspoken that whoever is strongest in that moment, they will be there. Simply put, good friends come into our lives and they never leave. They help us find the true meaning in life, they make us laugh, they console us, and they remind us of how truly rich we are with their friendship. While there may be times when we don’t see each other for a time, we reconnect without skipping a beat when we are blessed with their presence. True friendships are one of the finest treasures in the deep ocean of life. Where would we be, without our friends? So send them blessings today, be grateful, and always remember to nurture, that which is most precious. Namaste.
Robin Sharma said “If I make deposits into an Emotional Bank Account with you through courtesy, kindness, honesty, and keeping my commitments to you, I build up a reserve. Your trust in me becomes higher, and I can call upon that trust many times if I need to. I can even make mistakes, and that trust level, that emotional reserve, will compensate for it. My communication may not be clear, but you’ll get my meaning anyway. When the trust account is high, communication is easy, instant, and effective. In relationships, the little things, are the big things. You can go home again – if your home is a treasured relationship, a precious companionship.”
