Good Morning,
Always do your best…………..lead with humility and will. Humility allows us to share the accolades when we achieve great things, and to take responsibility for the less than stellar results when we miss the goal. Will power is the fuel that believes we can all accomplish what we set out to do. In order to be a great leader you must be able to rise beyond yourself and stand for something that will outlast you.
Nothing is a better indicator of potential success than your own sense of self worth. When you have an intact sense of self worth , you value other people. You accept that other people may see things differently than you, and you do not feel the need to make yourself right and them wrong. You are confident in who you are, which means that you can accept others for who they are. When your self esteem is in jeopardy or low, you compete, you need to win everyone over to your way of thinking.
Our lives speak to us and try to give us messages about the things that we need to pay attention to; if you find yourself right fighting or needing to win every discussion then you have already lost your grounding and more importantly you have lost your sense of self worth. So find your calling, use your talents for good, and always leave people better than you find them.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said “May I stress the need for courageous, intelligent, and dedicated leadership… Leaders of sound integrity. Leaders not in love with publicity, but in love with justice. Leaders not in love with money, but in love with humanity. Leaders who can subject their particular egos to the greatness of the cause.”
