Strive to do your best……and be the best that you can be. At times we wander off of our own path….we are distracted by all that goes on around us and we absorb it without filters. You know who you are, you know what is important to you, and you know when you are being authentic and when you are just pretending. When we move away from our authenticity we add stress to our lives because we are choosing and behaving in a way that is not aligned with our values. No one is immune to problems, being reflective does not remove you from the world, rather it positions you to live in it productively and successfully.
Examine your obstacles, they reveal what you truly believe and who you really are. They introduce you to yourself in the present moment and allow you to filter and make changes as you learn and grow. Sticking tenaciously to your beliefs will ensure that your fears are governing your decisions….and not allowing you to live beyond them. Failure is a delay not a defeat and it is only those who risk nothing, that believe that failure is the final frontier. So as you reflect today on your beliefs and values ask yourself – What is the one thing that I know I need to do, in order to take my life to the next level? Now make a decision to do it.
Robin Sharma said “Just maybe your job is not to become someone other than who you currently are. Just maybe, the main aim is to access and remember and reconnect with the best that already resides in you. And how can you recall your personal greatness? By starting the process of chipping away everything that is not truly you. The fears that you have picked up. The limiting beliefs you have accumulated. The false assumptions that divorce you from your most authentic – and staggeringly brilliant self. Self remembering and personal leadership is a journey. Greatness comes by doing a few small and smart things each and every day. It comes from taking little steps, consistently.”
