Always do your best……….strive to have a positive attitude in life. Our beliefs are either empowering or dis-empowering………empowering beliefs strengthen our character, they enhance the quality of our life, and they always set us up for success. Dis-empowering beliefs diminish our self-esteem, they support us living at less than our best, and they stop us from making commitments and decisions.
The importance of our belief system cannot be under estimated…..it has a profound impact on our relationship with ourselves and with others. If we are willing to examine our beliefs and weed the garden from time to time, then we can experience continuous growth. It is true that an unshakable certainty can help us accomplish great things, it can also blind us to information that could change what we believe and therefore how we realize our potential. There is a fine line here, so ask yourself “have I adopted beliefs that I consider to be sacred?” and if so, have I forgotten that my beliefs are only one perspective…….mine.
Robin Sharma said “Please remember that the doorway to success doesn’t swing outward – it swings inward. In other words – when you invest in your inner life (growing better beliefs, strengthening your mindset, developing your internal toughness etc.), your outer life cannot help but follow………. It’s easier to act your way into a new way of thinking versus think your way into a new way of acting. Study elite achievers and you’ll discover they were not “naturals” and “gifted”. No – they just had a different strategy from average people, they practiced daily, they were INSANELY persistent. Oh – and they ALL had a coach.”
