Thought of the Day

Good Morning,

Happy Tuesday. Have a beautiful day. Enjoy.

Take time for reflection…..it’s an important part of living. Don’t wait for a major shift in your life to remember the importance of the pause. When we pause we let things settle and we are able to reclaim the goodness in our lives. We are reminded of the joy of being present. If not then we are on the train and there are no stops. No magic in the moments, no gratitude for just being alive, no hope for the future. Flowers need rain to grow and so do we. We need to live through the storms in our life, with grace. Grace is what shows up when we have a place for the light to get in.  Grace will hold you and keep you from going where angels fear to tread. It will remind you of your values and put you back in alignment with them.

There will always be storms in our lives; but just like Mother Nature they will pass and the sun will come out again. You can create that feeling we all have after a storm; when it is as if the earth is revitalized and energized for another day. Pausing allows you to claim that delicious feeling of being renewed. But in between our pauses…. we cannot live in the shadows, or the promised land where we tell ourselves, once I do this, then I can do that. We don’t have a guaranteed number of days. The time to heal and claim our best life, is right now. There truly is magic in every moment, you just have to look for it, and the only way to do that is to pause, to listen, and to be present. Every moment you experience today will not happen again. So pour your best into each minute. Savour the beauty and blessing of living your life fully. Life is an echo; what you send out comes back, what you sow, you reap, what you see in others, exists in you. You are the one who can fill your world with sunshine. Start now……Namaste

Tara Isis Gerris said “It often takes painful situations in life for us to become aware again of the abundance and magical opportunities life provides us. Many times we wait until something dramatic happens before we tune into the beauty and magical experiences of life on earth. We hide from the rain instead of feeling the deliciousness of letting her touch our bare skin. We tend to work so hard or focus so intensely on personal growth that it becomes an obsession and we dig ourselves so deep into all the things we think we need to do, that we forget to enjoy this very moment. We forget that each moment we have on earth is an absolute gift waiting for us to be seen and fully lived. We wear ourselves out while we search for love, wealth, acceptance and by holding on to the past or fears, all things that can be healed and released if we give ourselves this opportunity and commit to it. Why do we wait to fully live and enjoy life? Why do we sabotage ourselves and get in our own way? Is it true that we have to wait until everything is perfect or can true fulfilment be found in each moment?”
