Thought of the Day

Good Morning,

Happy Monday. Have a great start to your week. Have an awesome day. Enjoy.

Today’s Challenge ~ Let the light in to the places that need healing……and RISE

Always do your best……when you fall, rise. There is no greater freedom than the freedom that comes when we are resilient. Life is going to take you down into the valley of despair and then it will take you to the top of the mountain of joy. Sometimes when we are in the valley, we may convince ourselves that we are stuck there, waiting for miracles. This is precisely when we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and then we have to climb, so that we can rise. This is perhaps one of the most important and loving things my mother taught me. She called it fall down seven times, get up eight. She did not rescue me, she taught me to always rescue myself. It does not mean that you won’t feel bad, or sad, or frustrated or angry. Because bravery is acknowledging fear, and doing it anyway.  We have to acknowledge our tougher emotions before we can rise above them.

In order to do this we must be willing to lean into our feelings of vulnerability and fear and then run towards them. Once you are no longer fearful, you will become powerful. Each time you dance with your own vulnerability you will become stronger and you will say no to things that don’t serve you. Each time you stare your fears down, and claim victory with your spirit you will let the light in. You will allow yourself to heal. Rather than silently accepting things that rob us of our soul.  We rise, knowing that when we let the light in, we stand in our power. We can come out of the darkness and into the light and whenever we do that, we are renewed. We are protected.  We must never feel helpless. We must help ourselves. After destiny has delivered what it will, we are responsible for our lives. Namaste.

Brene Brown said “There is no greater threat to the critics and the cynics and fear mongers than those of us who are willing to fall. Because we have learned to rise. A small, quiet, grassroots movement that starts with each of us story matters, because I matter. A movement  where we can take to the streets with our messy, imperfect, wild, wonderful, heartbreaking, grace filled, and joyful lives. A movement fuelled by the freedom that comes when we stop pretending that everything is okay when it isn’t.”
