Thought of the Day

The quality of your relationships……………are a reflection of what you give to them.  How you feel and what you give to life; is reflected back to you in your  level of family closeness, your intimate relationships, your friendships, work relationships, and the quality and closeness you enjoy in each of them. How you feel at any given moment is always a good barometer of what you are giving out.  You cannot rise above your feelings.  If you are feeling bad, it is challenging to give love or to be joyful.  If you’re just feeling ok most days; then you will have those results reflected back to you in your life.  Your life will be ok, average, unexciting.  Whereas being mindful and treating yourself and others well, places you on  a higher frequency.

So, if feelings are the fuel for our thoughts and words then we must have the awareness to manage them and change them so that they reflect our  true desires, and the dreams we have for ourselves. We can most certainly have hope for the future, but live in the now.  Because when we look after the present moment, then we look after the future.  Living with awareness allows us to mindfully manage our feelings.  It facilitates transitioning from negative feelings to more positive ones.  In taking responsibility for our feelings we recognize the folly of stressing over things that are truly outside of our control….and we see the way to managing the things that we can. Remember the crowded hours come to you always one moment at a time.

Rhonda Byrne said “Your thoughts and words have no power at all in your life without your feelings.  You think so many thoughts in a day that don’t amount to anything because many of your thoughts don’t elicit a strong feeling within you.  It’s what you feel that matters.  Your thoughts and words are vehicles that can’t do anything without your feelings, because your feelings are the power of your thoughts and words.  Like everything else in life, your feelings can either be positive or negative, you can have good feelings or bad feelings.  All good feelings come from love.  And all negative feelings come from a lack of love.  The better you feel, like when you feel joyful, the more love you give out.  and the more love you give, the more you receive.”
