Today’s Challenge ~ Tell that monkey mind to be still and…..find the joy in each moment.
Always do your best…..find peace in the simple things for they are always there to be grateful for. Cherish the good times, the friendships, the love; and gently let frustration, sorrow, anger, and pain go. Recognise that just like the seasons our life experiences will come and go. Trust that when things happen there will be someone who understands, someone who can listen and acknowledge your feelings, someone who will remind you that tomorrow is another day. We all need a gentle nudge from time to time, a loving hug that lets us know that we are loved. Someone to remind us that a beautiful life is more about outlook than appearances.
We cannot avoid the rough times, the sorrowful times, but we can take comfort in the warmth of loving friends and family. So we need to muster the strength to give each day our best. We must promise ourselves to dream more, and hesitate less. So on those days when your life feels like it is lacking the power you want; all you have to do is shift your point of view. Don’t wait for things to get better, go in the direction of your hopes and aspirations for the day. Set an intention for good things to happen. Be full of awareness for the beauty around you and when life visits with the tough days…..fill your mind and soul with hope and faith. Pause to appreciate the wonder in the moment and never forget to rejoice in each small joy. Because your mind always matters. Namaste
“Hope is not the closing of your eyes to the difficulty, the risk, or the failure. It is a trust that if I fail now, I shall not fail forever; and if I am hurt I shall be healed. It is a trust that life is good, love is powerful, and the future is full of promise. Most of the shadows of this life are caused by standing in one’s own sunshine.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
