Good Morning,

Happy Wednesday! Have a beautiful day. Enjoy.

Always do your best……pace yourself. Our minds are noisy and worrisome, and our schedules are worse. It is said, show me your schedule and I will show you, your priorities. Filling up our calendars with meeting after meeting just isn’t effective. It sucks the energy right out of us, and leaves us fatigued and drained. Too many meetings about planning the work, instead of putting our energy into the work will ensure we fall behind. When you have things you need to accomplish, you need to clear the decks, clear your schedule and then with a laser focus, put all of your passion and energy into the work. Don’t look for a lake when you are standing in  a stream. Manage your time, and make sure that the time you have available is being used to drive results that are important to you.

We are too busy, because we allow ourselves to be. Mostly running on adrenaline, as we dart around wearing our badge of honour, “I am so busy” we declare to the world, and still we do nothing about it. Running non-stop will not ensure that you are effective and able to realize your goals and dreams. We are not meant to run non-stop. We need fuel, rest, and a recharge periodically. So we must build these into our day. Make sure there are a few minutes between appointments and meetings. Pause long enough to reset and take inventory of how you are using your time. Purpose is the most powerful motivator in the world. Be clear about your purpose and liberate yourself long enough to manifest your full potential; and then, dignify and honour the people you journey with so they have time to soar.

T.D. Jakes said “We are busier than any other generation we have seen in the last three to four hundred years. We are so busy. And we think because we’re busy, we’re effective. But I want you to challenge your schedule for a minute and ask yourself , are you really being effective, or is your life cluttered with all kinds of stuff that demands you, and drains you, and taxes you, and stops you from being your highest and best self? And are you substituting busyness and all the chaos that goes along with busyness for being effective? We are the people we have been waiting for, and no one else is coming.”
