Today’s Challenge…..Do something you have been procrastinating. Get things done today. Create can do energy. Because yes you can.
Always do your best……be present and let grace come to you. Most of us have been taught to engage our world with some form of the golden rule. Treat others as you wish to be treated….and if you have grace you have the capacity to be compassionate with how you treat people. Grace will guide you in your darkest moments, it will be offered to you when you believe you can’t go on. It will be your filter and it will ensure that the effect of your communication matches your intent. Grace will stop you from saying things that you can’t unsay. But not everyone has grace. Not everyone has listened to the wisdom of life as they navigate their way through its corridors. Not everyone has the grace to know when to be silent. There are three types of people in our lives during difficult times, those that help us, those that leave us, and those that cause our difficulty.
It’s important to know who is who and to govern ourselves accordingly. Because if we are to truly grow and develop as adults we must listen to grace. We must exhibit grace with those around us. To careen through life not bothering to listen when the lessons come is irresponsible and will ultimately lead to failure on a grand scale. If you peel away the trappings of this life, take the job away, take the things away, take the money away; and what is left will either be a gentle soul who can stand in their power without all the stuff, or someone whose only power resides in their material wealth. An empty vessel, one that cannot summon grace because they do not recognize it. So today recognize those that seem to take the energy out of you, and return it to yourself. With each exhale, imagine that you are restoring your power. That’s grace. Namaste
Caroline Myss “Do you ever have that in an argument with someone where you get so fired up and you think, Ooh, I could just say this? And all of a sudden a voice says, “You sure you want to do that?” Because it’s a game changer….that is grace. The grace that comes in and says, “You can never take that back.” The voice that declares, “I’m going to prevent you from doing something really ruinous right now.” That’s grace. Grace is a kind of thing that comes in and says “you’ll be alright.” and then goes away. Grace is the kind of thing that says “put your hand in mine” and you can feel an energy go through you and it calms you down. And it doesn’t give you an explanation. When you are flushed with worry, and you think “am I going to be alright?” And then you know, yes I am. Grace is a power that comes in and transforms a moment into something better.”
